The Sleaford Heritage Trail

Welcome to Sleaford’s Heritage Trail

You can join in the trail at any of the locations mentioned in the link below, but use the one conveniently situated at the entrance to Sleaford station!

Spires & Steeples

The Spires & Steeples Arts & Heritage Trail runs from Lincoln Cathedral to St Denys Church in Sleaford passing through beautiful countryside and picturesque villages, many with their own village art trails, along the way.

Sleaford Arts & Heritage Trail

This 3 mile trail is inspired by the rich heritage of the market town of Sleaford and features eighteen bronze roundels situated at significant historical sites and visitor attractions including Cogglesford Mill, Navigation House, The National Centre for Craft and Design and Sleaford station. The trail takes around 2 hours to complete and maps are available to download here

Ridges & Furrows

Ridges & Furrows is a new 30 mile arts & heritage trail for Lincolnshire linking The National Centre for Craft and Design in Sleaford with the Millennium Green in North Hykeham via the Lincoln Edge. Click here to download a map or for further information click here Sleaford

Stepping Out

Stepping Out is a collection of walks, varying in distance, through quiet, unspoilt countryside in the heart of rural Lincolnshire. Managed by Hill Holt Wood, you can find details on all the walks available in and around North Kesteven here.

Sleaford Circular

For those with a little extra time why not try this 41 mile circular trail which extends as far as Woolsthorpe, via Grantham, before returning to Sleaford via Allington, Barkston and Wilsford. Not one for the faint hearted! For the route information click here
