Heckington station is the most picturesque station on the Poacher Line. This unmanned station consists of 2 platforms and has step free access with the Nottingham bound platform accessed via a foot crossing. Situated in one of the station buildings is a rail museum which is open bank holiday weekends. While not an official car park, there is parking adjacent to the station.
