Over the coming years, we are investing £600 million bringing customer improvements to our services, trains and stations. In the future this means we’ll be bringing you more seats, more comfort, more often.
As part of this investment, we’re improving our trains and introducing a new intercity fleet, as well as refurbishing two new, faster and more modern regional fleets – with free WiFi and power sockets to enhance your journey. Plus, there will be more services later in the evening, at weekends and on local and long-distance routes.
EMR is committed to working closely with Community Rail lines across their network and are looking to add to their current four Community Rail Partnerships (CRP) during the eight year franchise. As part of their committed obligations to the Department for Transport (DfT) there are several project funding options that the CRP’s and station adoption groups can bid into.
The Poacher Line’s EMR liaisons are Community Ambassador Kaye, and Donna who is the Community Engagement Manager.
