Bottesford Station

Welcome to the village of Bottesford. The village was built around the River Devon and is named after the ford, located at the centre of the village which almost circles the church.

The church spire you can see is that of St Mary the Virgin, the octagonal crocketed spire is considered to be the tallest in Leicestershire at 210 feet. The spire is also home to a family of Peregrines which can often be seen. The village is home to several pubs most notably The Bull Inn.
