The Poacher Line took part in the NK Walking Festival on Saturday 24th July. The walk, which was one of their rail walks, was led by Stuart Parker from the Ramblers Association. 11 participants, including 3 station adopters, walked the Ancaster to Sleaford route which consisted of 6.5miles through the Ancaster Valley, along the River Slea and into Sleaford.
Jo Andrews, Community Rail Officer for the Poacher Line said: “Thank you to Stuart for including our walk in the festivals programme. It was a fantastic day to get out and explore the beautiful vistas of the area, get some exercise and meet new friends. I would also like to thank our wonderful station adopters Mark, Russell & Adele for coming out to support the partnership and the festival”
The Poacher Line has 5 rail walks of varying difficulty and they can be found on here
