Grand Opening of Poacher’s Patch at Sleaford Station

We were delighted to invite the Mayor of Sleaford, Councillor and Mrs Oates, to officiate at the grand opening of our allotment on Thursday 3rd June. We were joined by guests Rainbow Stars, a local charity who supports adults and children with hidden disabilities in a lovely morning of activities which included a goody bag for everyone. Rainbow Stars recently lost access to their outdoor space and were delighted to be able to officially adopt the allotment which would enable them to experience the whole Plot to Pot experience. A competition was organised to chose the name, which was chosen by Sleaford resident, Vivien Banks. You can find out about our whole journey here
