Join us for an evening of musical extravaganza as our Music at the Mill returns to Heckington. Join Identity Crisis on the train at Grantham and at the Mill where they will be also joined by the fabulous Blighty Belles and the Lincolnshire Vocal Academy.
Tuck in to some Banzai Thai street food or a tasty Boston Sausage - all washed down with ale from the onsite 8 Sail Brewery.

Saturday 22nd JUNE 2024 : RAILWAY RAMBLE : ANCASTER to SLEAFORD
As part of the North Kesteven Walking Festival and Sleaford Riverlight Festival, our walk today is organised by the Ramblers Lincolnshire Area and Poacher Line Community Rail Partnership.

Catch the train from Skegness, Wainfleet, Boston, Heckington or Sleaford to Ancaster .
Our route follows public footpaths and quiet lanes with fine views across the Ancaster Valley, South Rauceby, alongside the River Slea to finish at Sleaford station and discover the site of Sleaford castle.
(this is a linear walk, we take the train out and walk back, we do not return to Ancaster)

We are having an Action day at Ancaster Station to spruce up the station and bring a bit more colour to a beautiful station. We are repainting the fences and planting new planters. we have volunteers from across the network lending a hand

The Skegness & Horncastle Ramblers have organised a ‘railway ramble’ from Wainfleet to Skegness.
The train departs Skegness at 1015 to arrive at Wainfleet at 1024 for a walk, following public footpaths and quiet lanes, back to Skegness.
Distance : up to 10 miles, a linear walk from Wainfleet to Skegness.
Walk start 1025am at Wainfleet station.
Suggested train departs: Grantham 0828, Sleaford 0857, Heckington 0905, Boston 0921 arrive Wainfleet 0945.
Bring a packed lunch & drink, wear suitable footwear and clothing.
All are welcome, the walk is free but fares apply.

We are delighted to confirm that our next Conference will be held on Monday 7th October 2024 at the Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham. Please save the date, further information to follow. For those of you who have attended this annual conference before you will know that it’s a fabulous opportunity to network with other adopter groups on our network, attend some very useful workshops, have your say on what we can do better and what you would like to see more of, along with a spot of lunch in an amazing venue. We hope to see lots of you there.

NOVEMBER
The Music Train is back!
Join us along the Poacher Line for the long awaited return of our music train!
Date: 28th November 2024
The train will depart from Sleaford at 16:56 and return from Wainfleet at 21:29.
The event is free however you will be responsible for purchasing your own train ticket at the station/on the train and drinks at the brewery,
The brewery will have available five Batemans beers, wine, cider and soft drinks unfortunately no tea or coffee, plus hot dogs.
Please be aware that attendees will not be able to buy Batemans bottles on the train.
We will have Mark Hickman from Identity crisis playing on the train and at the brewery so bring your singing voices!
