As part of the North Kesteven Walking Festival and Sleaford Riverlight Festival, our walk today is organised by the Ramblers Lincolnshire Area and Poacher Line Community Rail Partnership.

Catch the train from Skegness, Wainfleet, Boston, Heckington or Sleaford to Ancaster .
Our route follows public footpaths and quiet lanes with fine views across the Ancaster Valley, South Rauceby, alongside the River Slea to finish at Sleaford station and discover the site of Sleaford castle.
(this is a linear walk, we take the train out and walk back, we do not return to Ancaster)

The Music Train is back!
Join us along the Poacher Line for the long awaited return of our music train!
Date: 28th November 2024
The train will depart from Sleaford at 16:56 and return from Wainfleet at 21:29.
The event is free however you will be responsible for purchasing your own train ticket at the station/on the train and drinks at the brewery,
The brewery will have available five Batemans beers, wine, cider and soft drinks unfortunately no tea or coffee, plus hot dogs.
Please be aware that attendees will not be able to buy Batemans bottles on the train.
We will have Mark Hickman from Identity crisis playing on the train and at the brewery so bring your singing voices!
