Elton & Orston

Welcome to the villages of Elton & Orston which are small villages situated either side of the station.

About

Elton & Orston both have a public house; The Manor Arms at Elton and the Durham Ox at Orston. Other facilities include a church and a village hall and primary school at Orston. Elton Camp is located next to the station and this has been home to Girl Guides camping for 80 years.

Station information

Elton & Orston station is an unmanned station and consists of 2 platforms with step free access to both platforms, access to the Grantham bound platform is via a foot crossing. In January 2020 it was named the 6th least used station in the UK! There is limited free parking at the station.
