As part of the North Kesteven Walking Festival, our walk today is organised by the Ramblers Lincolnshire Area and Poacher Line Community Rail Partnership.

Catch the train from Skegness, Wainfleet, Boston, Heckington or Sleaford to Ancaster .
Our route follows public footpaths and quiet lanes with fine views across the Ancaster Valley, South Rauceby, alongside the River Slea, discover the site of Sleaford castle to finish at Sleaford station.
(this is a linear walk, we take the train out and walk back, we do not return to Ancaster)

Boston Central Park beach to return this Summer with a variety of other activities including Skate Jam
The 'Boston' beach is making a return to Boston Central Park this summer, offering a host of activities for all ages - most of which are free.
The popular beach area is to be installed in the park on Monday 17th July in time for the school holidays. It will stay for the duration of the school break until September 4th and can be used by anyone during the park's opening hours.
